I offer professional photographs that capture the beauty and character of your pets. A photo of your four-legged pet will be a beautiful keepsake. In the photographs I will capture the extraordinary bond, love and devotion between you. Upon request, I will also photograph the owners and the animals. I will take into account any visions and ideas for photographs of pet owners. I photograph common domestic pets such as dogs, cats and rabbits, and more exotic companions – snakes, spiders, tortoises, parrots. Whichever species you love, I will photograph!

How it works

The most important thing when working with animals, is making sure both you and they are happy and relaxed. We want to capture their individual brilliance, so we need them to simply be themselves during the session. Rather than formal, forced posing, my camera will follow your pet’s natural behaviour, capturing the best moments, showing their wonderful personality.

The session is always attended by you as your pet’s handler, so you’re very welcome to participate as a model if you would like to do so. As you will probably already know, sometimes animals just don’t want to cooperate – and they can be easily distracted! So, it’s a good idea to bring your pet’s favourite toys to the session.

And most importantly – don’t forget the treats! They are a great motivator and will certainly help us find that money shot!

Sessions take place outdoors or at your home if you prefer. Session time is approximately 3 hours, including my editing work.

Frequently asked questions
Yes!! There is no extra charge for a menagerie – the more the merrier! If your pets will not sit together on session day, I will photograph them separately and create a composite so it appears they sat next to each other. It can be our secret.
Outdoor sessions are usually at a park. We will discuss this in detail when we meet for a planning session.
Yes!! I encourage all clients to include the humans in pet photography. And if you really don’t want to be in the photographs, you don’t have to.
Your anxious or distractable or excitable dog can be amazing at pet photography. I’m so confident I guarantee it.
